This 8-day safari offers a comprehensive exploration of Kenya’s best national parks. Begin with the serene Aberdare National Park and the semi-desert beauty of Shaba, then explore the wildlife-rich Samburu and the scenic beauty of Mount Kenya.
Your journey continues to Lake Nakuru for bird watching and Maasai Mara, where you’ll encounter the Big Five and other iconic African wildlife.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our team will welcome you and introduce you to your qualified safari guide and driver for a safari briefing. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Aberdare National Park, renowned for its majestic peaks, moorlands, and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at Aberdare.
After breakfast, head north across the Equator to the semi-desert region of Samburu, arriving at Shaba National Park in time for lunch at Shaba Lodge. In the afternoon, take a drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River to search for crocodiles, leopards, and other wildlife. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the park.
On day three, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Samburu National Park. Watch the abundant wildlife gather at the river to drink, and be on the lookout for the rare Samburu Special Five, including Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe. Return to the park for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive south across the Equator to the luxurious Mt. Kenya Safari Club. This renowned resort offers stunning views of Mt. Kenya and numerous leisure activities. Spend the day enjoying the club’s facilities and the tranquil environment. Dinner and overnight stay at Mt. Kenya Safari Club.
After breakfast, head west across the Aberdare ranges to Lake Nakuru National Park, a famous bird sanctuary. Enjoy a lunch break at the park, followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is home to flamingos, rhinos, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy dinner and unwind with an overnight stay at the park.
On day six, after breakfast, begin your drive to Maasai Mara National Park. Along the way, enjoy the spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, take an afternoon game drive through the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara National Park.
Start the day with an early morning game drive, searching for the Big Five: African elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Enjoy a full day of game viewing and relish the stunning landscape and diverse wildlife of Maasai Mara. After a thrilling day, enjoy dinner and overnight at the park.
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before departing for Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon for a farewell lunch and then be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight or transfer to your next destination.
